Over three years ago we were approached by Will Bridgman at Warren services to provide four sit-stand desks for some of the staff, as part of a trial into active sit-stand working. If their feedback was positive, the company would then look to add more over the coming months and years. We suggested that the most economical solution was to recycle their existing desktops, so it then became a straightforward job of simply attaching our Skyflo frames.
Sit-stand active working has now become part of the office culture at Warren Services, for staff in various departments across the company. Flomotion also hosted a free workshop for staff, exploring how active working, movement, stretching and exercise can be incorporated into a typical working day. We shared ideas and tips on how to change bad habits around sedentary working, for our improved long-term health and well-being. The staff are really beginning to see the benefits of a sit stand desk.
Over a period of 3 years, Warren Services have now installed 14 desks. This flexible installation, based on a pre-agreed price at the outset, is just one way that we continue to look at ways of working with our customers, especially when a company is growing and new employees join every year. It also means that costs can be managed and spread out over a period of time.
