Sisu Solid Wood Standing Desks
Many of our Sisu solid wood standing desks are kept in stock, but they are very popular and may not always be available for immediate delivery.
Premium quality wood furniture takes time to make and deliver. Whilst paying close attention to detail, our tops are produced as quickly as possible and we think you’ll agree, they are worth the wait.
The process typically follows five stages
The process typically follows five stages
1 . Thank you for placing your order with us – all the information regarding the desks you have chosen, including any special finish instructions such as a lacquer, hardwax oil, stains and grommet holes, are logged onto the system.
2. Waiting in line – your order is then added to the production queue. This is where the majority of the 4 weeks we quote upon order is spent – but don’t worry, we won’t forget about you!
Obviously, it doesn’t take that long to make a desktop but our desks are very much in demand so before we start making yours, we have to be fair to customers in front of you and make theirs first.
The Making

3. Your order is now at the front of the queue. The making of your top has been assigned to a skilled craftsman for individual production. Once made it will be passed on to the finishing department for lacquering, staining or waxing. Numerous coats are applied no matter the finish, and each coat takes time to dry in between.
During this time one of our team will be in touch by email to make delivery arrangements. At the same time details about programming and personalising your height control panel and desk assembly information are provided.
The Delivery
4. While your desktop is being made, we will be testing and packing your height adjustable frame and accessories. The central bar will be attached to the underside of your top* once it’s ready and fixing holes for the height control panel (and control box for the Skyflo frame) are pre-drilled.
Free delivery is included on all orders using a combination of courier and our vans, depending on location and assistance level required.
Our white-glove service includes desk assembly along with the removal of all packaging and is available from £150, depending on location.
Courier delivery with a pre-12 noon next day service. Your desk will be carefully wrapped in layers of protective packaging to ensure that it arrives undamaged and in perfect condition. Even if it’s taken a bit of a bump en route, our packaging is designed to be robust enough to withstand the impact and your desk remain unscathed.
*Due to the weight of the 1600 & 1800mm, Sisu solid wood desks in oak and ash will have the fixing holes pre-drilled, but the central bar will be sent separately rather than attached to the underside of the desktop.
The Arrival
5. Our desks (with Skyflo and Airflo frames) are now 95% pre-assembled with no specialist equipment needed other than an Allan key (provided) and Philips screwdriver. All you need to do is click in the legs, attach the feet and control panel, and you’ll be up and running in minutes. It is a quick and simple process at a fraction of the time it takes to assemble any other sit-stand desk.
