Honest and transparent advice
We’re not the cheapest on the market and we’re not the most expensive; and we understand that we may not be the right fit for you.
The market is flooded with sit-stand desks that at first glance look all too similar, but the devil is in the detail so make sure you check some important facts out before buying. Manufacturer, warranty and what’s covered, lift capacity, safety features, noise level and lift speed at the very least.
Some of our customers are very sensitive to wobble and we understand that individual tolerances vary. Like hundreds of happy customers and reviews to match, we think our frames are super sturdy!
If you’re on a tight budget, our advice would be to look at Amazon or Ikea there are plenty of options to choose from. If you’re undecided and just want to try sit-stand working, buy a cheap bamboo desk riser and give it a go before investing in desk.

Our desk frames are quick and easy to assemble, and our desks* now arrives 95% pre-assembled so that you can be up and standing in minutes. No specialist equipment required. We’re a small business with big ideas. We don’t have stakeholders and we don’t want to take over the world, although we do want to transform the world of work, so that everyone can benefit from a healthier more active lifestyle.
Being lean means there is little room for any waste but we’re on a journey, looking at every aspect of our business from electric vans, packaging, transport, our energy use and our supply chain.
Working on a sustainability report that will be launched next year, with a considered approach to the impact we have as a company and what we can do best to support our environment and help combat and reduce the impact we have on climate change.
An obvious avenue of support, with natural wood at the heart of our business, would be to plant trees, but even this seemly simple process has implications for the environment if not done properly.
When choosing a top quality product, you’re also making a sustainable choice that will be with you for the next 15-20 years. Opting for a cheaper, less reliable product means it’s far more likely to need replacing in half the time!
