Leather HAG Capisco 8106 – Design Your Chair

The leather Capisco features Paloma Soft and Elmosoft Semi-Aniline* leather upholstery offering the ultimate in high quality ergonomic seating. A special finish adds a particular softness to the leather that also boasts excellent friction and breathing properties. The surface may feature small marks and scars from insect bites etc that adds character and authenticity of its natural origin. The award-winning Tannery, Wollsdorf Leather and Elmo Leather collaborated with HAG to create this unique edition of the Capisco chair

Predominantly cattle hides of central european origin

• free of chrome tanning (FOC), drum-through dyed
• special Semi-Aniline finish to meet the current standard of the furniture upholstery industry
• natural grain without embossing

Inspired by a horseback rider’s posture, it’s saddle seat and unique shape offers numerous ways to sit or perch and encourages you to change position. Sitting frontward, backward or sideways whatever feels most comfortable.

Full height adjustment of the saddle seat from sitting to standing positions whether working at a standard desk height or higher standing desk.

The Capisco chair boasts:-

• Easy adjustment of height, seat depth, back adjustment and tilt tension
• Inspires movement and new sitting positions – forwards, sideways and backwards
• Encourages an upright sitting posture and a natural curvature in the lower back
• Suitable for all working surfaces with a height of 72cm and higher

*Semi-Aniline leather

Aniline is the most natural type of leather, dyed with soluble dyes in vats so that the colour goes all the way through the hide giving the leather its lush and rich colour. In order to maintain the natural feel and look of the hide, no protective coating or surface pigmentation is applied.  However, the lack of treatment might render the leathers more susceptible to scratching, staining, or fading and might show some colour variations on the surface of the hide.

Semi-Aniline is aniline plus a slight protective coating, which can contain some additional pigmentation, that’s applied to the top of the hide to guarantee a consistent colour. Finally, a clear protective coating is applied to make the leather stain repellent and sun resistant.
